【摘要】:AssumptionsoftheTheis(1)equationaffectspecificcapacityandtransmissivityestimatedfromspecificcapacity.Theseassumptionsaregivenbelow:4.1.1Aquiferishomogeneousandisotropic.4.1.2Aquiferishorizontal,ofuniformthickness,andinfiniteinarealextent.4.1.3Aquiferisconfinedbyimpermeablestrataonitsupperandlowerboundaries.4.1.4DensitygradientintheflowingfluidmustbenegligibleandtheviscousresistancetoflowmustobeyDarcyrsquo;Law.4.1.5Controlwellpenetratesandreceiveswaterequallyfromtheentirethicknessoftheaquifer.4.1.6Controlwellhasaninfinitesimaldiameter.4.1.7Controlwelldischargesataconstantrate.4.1.8Controlwelloperatesat100percentefficiency.4.1.9Aquiferremainssaturatedthroughoutthedurationofpumping.ImplicationsofAssumptionsandLimitationsofMethod.4.2.1ThesimplifyingassumptionsnecessaryforsolutionoftheTheisequationandapplicationofthemethodareneverfullymetinafieldtestsituation.Thesatisfactoryuseofthemethodmaydependupontheapplicationofoneormoreempiricalcorrectionfactorsbeingappliedtothefielddata.4.2.2Generallythevaluesoftransmissivityderivedfromspecificcapacityvaryfromthosevaluesdeterminedfromaquifertestsutilizingobservationwells.Thesedifferencesmayreflect1)thatspecific-capacityrepresentstheresponseofasmallpartoftheaquifernearthewellandmaybegreatlyinfluencedbyconditionsnearthewellsuchasagravelpackorgradedmaterialresultingfromwelldevelopment,and2)effectsofwellefficiencyandpartialpenetration.4.2.3Thevaluesoftransmissivityestimatedfromspecificcapacitydataareconsideredlessaccuratethanvaluesobtainedfromanalysisofdrawdownsthatareobservedsomedistancefromthepumpedwell.1.1Thistestdescribesaprocedureforconductingaspecificcapacitytest,computingthespecificcapacityofacontrolwell,andestimatingthetransmissivityinthevicinityofthecontrolwell.Specificcapacityisthewellyieldperunitdrawdownatanidentifiedtimeafterpumpingstarted.1.2ThistestmethodisusedinconjunctionwithTestMethodD4050forconductingwithdrawalandinjectionwelltests.1.3ThemethodofdeterminingtransmissivityfromspecificcapacityisavariationofthenonequilibriummethodofTheis()fordeterminingtransmissivityandstoragecoefficientofanaquifer.TheTheisnonequilibriummethodisgiveninTestMethodD4106.1.4LimitationsThelimitationsofthetechniquefordeterminingtransmissivityareprimarilyrelatedtothecorrespondencebetweenthefieldsituationandthesimplifyingassumptionsoftheTheismethod.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.6Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotaddresssafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
