【摘要】:Thispracticeisanondestructiveevaluationintendedtobeusedforqualitycontrolpurposesduringfactoryorfieldseamingofgeomembranes.Thispracticemayalsobeusedtoevaluategeomembranepanelsforholesthatpenetratetheentirethicknessofmaterial.Limitationsonthetestpracticearethatitmaynotbesuitableforunevenorcurvedsurfaces,thickseams,seamsincorners,andthinextensiblegeomembranes.1.1ThispracticecoversprocedurestoperformnondestructivequalitycontroltestingdescribedinPracticeD4437andD4545forevaluatingthecontinuityofalltypesofgeomembraneseamsusingthebubbleemissionorvacuumchambermethod.1.2Thetechniquedescribedinthispracticeisintendedforuseongeomembraneseams,patches,anddefects.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
