【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirements,testmethods,materials,andmarkingforpolypropylene(PP),openbottom,buriedchambersofcorrugatedwallconstructionusedforcollection,detention,andretentionofstormwaterrunoff.Applicationsincludecommercial,residential,agricultural,andhighwaydrainage,includinginstallationunderparkinglotsandroadways.1.2Chambersareproducedinarchshapeswithdimensionsbasedonchamberrise,chamberspan,andwallstiffness.Chambersaremanufacturedwithintegralfeetthatprovidebasesupport.Chambersmayincludeperforationstoenhancewaterflow.Chambersmustmeettestrequirementsforarchstiffness,flattening,andacceleratedweathering.1.3Analysisandexperiencehaveshownthatthesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsuponthetypeanddepthofbeddingandbackfill,andcareininstallation.Thisspecificationincludesrequirementsforthemanufacturertoprovidechamberinstallationinstructionstothepurchaser.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddresswaterqualityissuesorhydraulicperformancerequirementsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertoensurethatappropriateengineeringanalysisisperformedtoevaluatethewaterqualityissuesandhydraulicperformancerequirementsforeachinstallation.1.6Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section6,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
