【摘要】:Thisdocumentshallcovertraditionallightningprotectionsysteminstallationrequirementsforthefollowing:(1)Ordinarystructures(2)Miscellaneousstructuresandspecialoccupancies(3)Heavy-dutystacks(4)Watercraft(5)Structurescontainingflammablevapors,flammablegases,orliquidsthatgiveoffflammablevapors1.1.2*Thisdocumentshallnotcoverlightningprotectionsysteminstallationrequirementsforthefollowing:(1)Explosivesmanufacturingbuildingsandmagazines(2)Electricgenerating,transmission,anddistributionsystems1.1.3Thisdocumentshallnotcoverlightningprotectionsysteminstallationrequirementsforearlystreameremissionsystemsorchargedissipationsystems.A.1.1.2Electricgeneratingfacilitieswhoseprimarypurposeistogenerateelectricpowerareexcludedfromthisstandardwithregardtogeneration,transmission,anddistributionofpower.Mostelectricalutilitieshavestandardscoveringtheprotectionoftheirfacilitiesandequipment.Installationsnotdirectlyrelatedtothoseareasandstructureshousingsuchinstallationscanbeprotectedagainstlightningbytheprovisionsofthisstandard.Lightningprotectionsystemsforstructuresusedforproductionorstorageofexplosivematerialsrequirespecialconsiderationbecausethecontentsofsuchstructuresaresensitivetoarcorsparkignition.AnnexKprovidesguidanceforprotectionofstructureshousingexplosivematerials.OtherstandardsandhandbooksthatprovideguidanceformilitaryapplicationsarefoundinAnnexO.
